Navigation
Navigation is there to keep the overview of the game world. The game world is divided into levels : the universe, galaxies and systems. There are 3 basic colors that make navigation easier:
All galaxies / systems with own planets in are green.
All galaxies / systems with allied planets in are blue.
All galaxies / systems with hostile planets in are red.
The universe
The universe contains up to 70 galaxies. The final number of galaxies is determinated by the total number of players signing up to the game.
The galaxy
There are 2 types of galaxies: Homegals and Freegals. Every even numbered galaxy is a Homegal and every odd numbered galaxy is a Freegal.
Homegals
Homegals are galaxies where players sign up at the gamestart. They contain homeplanets. Each homegal has got 200 systems which means 10 rows with 20 systems each. Each system contains 10 planets. The first three rows of each homegal are reserved for homeplanets. This means that 60 systems are already filled when turns start, and that 140 systems are free. Planets in homegals are basic ones with only average output and space. There is a total of 2000 planets in every homegal.
Freegals
Freegals are galaxies which DO NOT contain homplanets. No players are signing up here. There are also 200 systems in each freegal (10 rows with 20 systems each) , however they contain planets that are much better than in homegals. This means better ressource abundancies and more space. Systems in freegals contain only 5 planets so there is a total of 1000 planets in every freegal.
Each homegal + freegal form a couple. When the signup period comes to an end the homegalaxy which is currenly being filled will be the last galaxy that can be signed up to. e.g. if galaxy 6 is being filled, galaxy 7 will exist as a freegal but galaxy 8 and onwards will not exist.
Movement between galaxies will not be linear and you will be able to travel between any galaxies in a fixed period of time.
The system
Each system in homegals contains 10 planets. Systems in freegals contains 5 planets. Players will signup next to each other in alternating systems. 10 players per system (homegals). These home planets will be protected for the entire game.
Every planet has an id (e.g. 3924) . Id's will be used to move fleets to a planet.
Planet IDs
The planet IDs give information about the system and the galaxy the planets are located in. Therefore, you need to analyse the figures of the numbers.
Explanation
Each number contains 5 figures:
ABCDE
Note: If a planet ID contains less than 5 figures, the leading zeros are cut, so planet ID 13 = planet ID 00013
The first two figures (A and B) define the galaxy the planet is located in.
| Planet ID | Galaxy |
| 00xxx and 01xxx | Galaxy 00 |
| 02xxx and 03xxx | Galaxy 01 |
| 04xxx and 05xxx | Galaxy 02 |
| 06xxx and 07xxx | Galaxy 03 |
| 08xxx and 09xxx | Galaxy 04 |
| 10xxx and 11xxx | Galaxy 05 |
| 12xxx and 13xxx | Galaxy 06 |
| 14xxx and 15xxx | Galaxy 07 |
| 16xxx and 17xxx | Galaxy 08 |
| 18xxx and 19xxx | Galaxy 09 |
| 20xxx and 21xxx | Galaxy 10 |
| 22xxx and 23xxx | Galaxy 11 |
| 24xxx and 25xxx | Galaxy 12 |
| 26xxx and 27xxx | Galaxy 13 |
| 28xxx and 29xxx | Galaxy 14 |
| 30xxx and 31xxx | Galaxy 15 |
| 32xxx and 33xxx | Galaxy 16 |
| 00xxx and 01xxx | Galaxy 17 |
| 00xxx and 01xxx | Galaxy 18 |
| 00xxx and 01xxx | Galaxy 19 |
The second figure, together with the third and fourth (B,C and D), define the system. If B is even, the planet is in system 0 to 99, if B is odd, planet can be found in system 100 to 199.
| Planet IDs | Systems | Example | |
| Planet IDs | Systems | ||
| x(even)00x to x(even)99x | 0 to 99 of a Gal | 0400x to 0499x | 0 to 99 in Gal 02 |
| x(odd)00x to x(odd)99x | 100 to 199 of a Gal | 0500x to 0599x | 100 to 199 in Gal 02 |
The last figure (E) defines the planet number in a system.
