How to sign up to Dark Galaxy

To sign up to Dark Galaxy, you first need to register to the official Forums of Dark Galaxy (the Turn Engine Forums) (http://www.turnengine.com/forums/)

Register on the Turn Engine Forums

First go to the Turn Engine Forums.

At the top of the page, choose Register.
Accepting the Turn Engine Forums Rules on the next page directs you to the following form you need to fill in:

User name - the name you will use on the Turn Engine Forums, doesn't need to be the same as your ingame name
Password - can be changed later on
Email Address - needs to be a valid one
Choose your time zone
Accepting Email from Administrators should be choosen

You just signed up to the Turn Engine Forums!

Sometimes, there may occur problems with Signup to the game if you never posted on Turn Engine Forums since your nickname won't be on the Members page then. We advice that you post somewhere on forums to avoid those problems

As of 30.04.07, attempts to sign up to the forums will result in a database error screen, so it is impossible for new members to sign up for the game. When is this going to be fixed?

Game Account

To play a round of Dark Galaxy, you must creat a game account. Only one game account per server and forums account is allowed. Read Rules and Etiquette for more information.

Signup to the game

To play Dark Galaxy, you now need to sign up to the current running game round. A link can be found on the mainpage www.darkgalaxy.com. The current round is Jupiter 2, the Signup can be found here. To sign up with a new account, your must first log in with you TurnEngine user dates.

Username is your TurnEngine Username which is also valid for the TurnEngine forums
Password is your TurnEngine password which is also valid for the TurnEngine forums

On the next signup screen, you choose your ruler name for this round on this server such as the name of your homeplanet. Your ruler name can, but doesn't need to be the same as your TurnEngine Username.
